So what names did he snipe, and where is the proof of those names being sniped? Or was this solely off of the bogus skype pic that was brought forth?

Not saying I like the guy, but by definition this staff decision is shit without more significant information.​

I went through and literally read that entire report, and I agree with josh and whoever else regarding vibes and the ultimate decision, what I don't agree with is:

EDIT: I ask that the mod dealing with this report to please disregard all premissions for "Vibes12" to post in this thread as it's obvious he's going to spew more broken english about how he's not a sniper. I'm NOT going to waste my time replying to him as I did previously in his previous bullshit report, I want a condigned decision made without staff having to read 8 other posts and then making a biased decision because they're too lazy to look through the OP.

This or the fact that the moderator(dunworry) dealing with this case also seems to be a close friend of josh.


I basically read everything through and through, and I agree it's definitely more than enough for a ban or at the very least a LONG term TWC, but I don't like the fact that

1. You tried cutting vibes off from telling his side of the story, which isn't how sythe should work, ever in my opinion(josh/dunworry)

&

2. The staff that ultimately handled the case you evidently are regularly in contact with and no other staff gave their thoughts, nor did the case get handed to another staff.

I don't have a problem with the decision, I do wish that decision had been made a little differently though, I think vibes definitely should of been free to post his side of the story, and an unbiased non-name market staff should of made the ruling.

it isn't right for staff to handle cases where it benefits them in a monetary way to remove name sellers in a ruling, this shouldn't ever happen, I understand Dunworry has the expierence needed to make that decision, but the fact the prosecution(josh) and the judge(dunworry) seem to be friends and the fact the defence(vibes) didn't get to post his side properly or defend himself doesn't seem like proper justice to me.

I would of been a lot happier had any other staff made the decision, even if the staff team was involved privately, someone else should of posted the ban decision to prevent it looking like dunworry's bias since he's a heavy name market user, I think it was sythe who once told me sythe staff are meant to provide unbiased arbitration of cases(or he is), I don't think dunworry should of handled this case.


That's just my serious 2 cents there though, you don't have to like it that's just how I view that case.


P.S- @Gun I was actually thinking theres enough for a TWC here but not a ban until that skype pic for what its worth.

 

Dunworry is far from my friend and Vibes blatantly admitted to sniping RSNs, if he had a valid 'defense' he would've provided it in the week and a half that the report was up.

 

That's fair enough, I'm not trying to justify him or defend him, I just am trying to make sure the system is being enforced fairly.

For example, was he aware that the report was made? He only had 1 comment much later on, and I don't believe he was tagged at all in the report, did he have proper time to comment and prepare a proper response or defense?

I didn't even see dunworry tag him after 10 days asking for a valid defense response :l, makes me wonder if the process was followed ya know? I get it was probably privately ran by the staff team, but I don't think its unreasonable for such a complicated and possibly controversial case to be dealt with until u at least hear a full response from both the prosecution and defence, vibes was not tagged AT ALL from what I can tell.

 

Before ultimately deciding to ban vibes, dunworry asked for the full conversation of the pictures and it was proven well and well that vibes is a scummy sniper/resniper, so there's no question about it. Even if what you're saying is true he was fully aware for 3+ days that the report was up which is more than enough time to write a defense if he had one. As yousuck posted earlier but then deleted vibes was playing 'hail mary', purposely deciding not to post on the report hoping staff don't ban him/hoping he doesn't further incriminate himself. He's nothing but scum and the ban was well deserved.

 

Mk, I just think it would of been better for any staff to say "we as a team have decided to ban vibes after seeing additional uncropped evidence from josh, if vibes wishes to dispute this he may do so".

That seems like a much better response and is exactly how sythes justice system should work.

No one person has the power(group of staff decided)-check
Additonal evidence shown further proving guilt-check
defence had time to post-check
defendant can dispute if he wants-check

I just sometimes wish staff would stop being so goddam secretive, if you ask someone to provide extra evidence on skype, why cant u post that? why do we have to learn about it in the SF a day later, so many unneeded problems, your suppose to be unbiased judges, not dictators, judges make rulings which effect all the other people to in certain cases, post all the evidence and process u went through so the people know theres a unbiased fair precedent.

I'm not even irritated about this case, the decision was right, but is it to much to ask for for staff to post they consulted other staff or reached the decision as a whole, instead it makes dunworry look like a biased asshole which I highly doubt is true lol, just nobody says anything different so everyone outside the case is lost.
