Vector art help

I really want to get into Vector art, on Photoshop of course.
But I cannot find ANY brushes or anything like that , to get me started!
Can someone give me some things to get started with Vector, or a guide on how to do it.
I don't want to do the kind of Vector where you change the way you look. An example of what I want to do it below

True vector art is done in illustrator, but for graphics I'm pretty sure it's all arranged on photoshop.

Google "free vectors", find a website like this http://qvectors.net/vector-illustration/vector-3/
Download that pack, arrange the shapes, add some text.
Maybe even throw in some icons http://www.iconfinder.com/

It doesn't get any simpler than that. I think I remember Hansen saying it only takes him a couple of minutes really.
