Vanilla Visa useless?

Where does everyone spend their Vanilla Visa cards? I can't find any place that would accept their shitty cards.

 

I've had before, they are useless online.. try gas

 

That defeats the purpose of getting it in the first place.

 

You can use them anywhere they accept Visa, including online. If you're using it online make sure to register your zip code first.

 

Is that why all my payments have been declined?

I'm not sure if this would work, but try registering it with a paypal account and sending a gift to another paypal account you own, using the vanilla visa.

 

I tried using my PP and request a payment from another email of mines. can't use the card as payment.

 

Try calling Paypal, I think my friend had the same problem and Paypal took care of it for him.

 

Too much of a hassle for so little. I can easily just sell it for alternative currency.

 

Vanilla visa can be used almost anywhere but you'll have to register it first, which will take awhile.

 

How would you register it? Only options are your zip code. Not much there.

 

On their website there's a link where you can register your address zip, name, etc and they mail you a new card which can be used almost anywhere. Last time I used a vanilla visa was last year so I'm not sure if it's still like that anymore

Oh, okay. It is just a hassle to register the card since it will take time to arrive.

When you say register, do you mean replace a card?
