My current stats are 55 range and 45 def, I'm trying to make a ranged/mage tank. Should I wait to start chinning? If so, what level should I start? Also what are the best locations to get the most exp?

 

I'd wait until at least 70 Range.

And when I say I'd wait until at least 70 Range, I'd only start chinning at 70 if I was desperate to get started nao.

Do not start until 70, the higher the range the better to be honest. I didn't chin until 85-99 Range.

 

85-99 is the most efficient exp/$ wise

 

I would also say 85-99 would be the best.

 

Best way to train range is if you got void (assuming you can use it) and use knives (iron), a MSB with iron+ arrows, or a bone cbow. You can easily gain 25k exp an hour, if not more. Do that till 70 or so. And you should chin when you hit at least level 70. Lower, with accurate, if you have void. I'd say chinning at 65 Range would be okay if you have void and use accurate.

 

If you start chinning at 55, you'll just waste a lot of money. Wait til you can hit harder for more exp for your coins.
