Using Powerleveling service bannable?

Is using Powerleveling service bannable?

 

Some one that knows more about this i couldnt find anything clear about it...

 

I personally would not use any of these power leveling services... there have been too many instances where customers end up getting banned for macroing which creates a whole mess as it becomes difficult to prove that the service provider is liable. Not to say there are no legitimate power leveling services, but what is going to stop a service provider from bottling the levels when there are loopholes which are commonly abused to avoid any repercussions?

 

Yes it is, it's classified as Account sharing. But doing it once or twice shouldnt trigger Jagex's system.

it is obviously bannable. its account sharing, then as mentioned above, a lot of them utilize macros. if youre in california logged on, and 2 minutes later the power leveling service is in ny and they log on, bam jagex knows youre account sharing. its impossible to travel that distance.

 

Account sharing is permissible as of the last year or so.

 

somehow i doubt that, but if this is the case im shaking my head at jagex. its basically saying "now you can pay to have quests/skills done", no different than buying a completed account.

the second sentence proves it is against the rules. "Never share your account with anyone else, doing so will likely get the account banned"

5000 feedback 1k on sythe 4k on pa, 1k+ of which for powerleveling alone in the last 12 months, 0 bans, a ban can only occur if the custom has botted before the powerleveling or if the powerleveler is botting to do the leveling. Keep inmind all cheap powerleveling is surely botting, u cant expect someone to train runecrafting for example for 500k an hr, when he can kill green dragons for the same price and be more afk, and gain melee stats on his own account lol.

 

youre wrong. the rules as ive quoted above say account sharing is a bannable. it doesnt matter if youve never been hit, the fact is its against the rules. my example stands, if someone who lives on the west coast of the usa logs in, then pays you, and you log in on the east coast 2 minute later, and this occurs multiple times or if jagex has been watching the account for any reason prior to the deal, they can and will assume you are account sharing. the only defense is the old "my account was stolen", but after multiple uses of power leveling services i dont think that would even fly.

i think its wrong to tell people something isnt bannable just because you've never been caught. shame on you.

 

yes im brobably wrong, after doing cross continental powerleveling for a few thousand people, sorry, and yes there is probably a small chance of a ban 1 in 100k people or less, i will tell u in 10years

I can echo that no one has been banned for account sharing in OSRS. The account sharing rule is mainly there to encourage players not to do it as most often the relationship goes sour, stuff gets stolen, passwords get changed and everyone gets upset with everyone else.

 

You could get caught for account sharing and banned

 

It is bannable for sure but small chance they catch you doing it.

 

They won catch you unless you are the only one not using your account, I powerleveed to max and nobody caught me.
