update on runescape?

Hey guys not sure if this is the right place but I havent been on runescape in years or at least haven't played in years, i have been checking in here and there for some news but now that i checked it seems a lot has changed.

can someone give me the few vital updates? i dont plan on playing ever but i thought it would be interesting to know whats happend lately.

especially concerning combat that seems to have changed and hitpoint level and combat level? a quick update would be appreciated, i cant even navigate myself on the rs website like the good old days, thanks

thanks i just looked over it real quick so does that mean everyone in wildy is skulled? no more people who have 3-4 very expensive items protected?

 

Yes, and it also means that pking is virtually non-existent.

 

Because of no safe pking, it's died incredible amounts. All the 10 year olds don't like the idea of risking their pixels. That's why so many people have shifted back to private servers.

 

Hitpoints and prayer have both been increased. Special attack has been removed once the new combat system was implemented. Squeal of Fortune has been implemented in the game as well, you can google that for more details.

 

so u say pking sucks now? like its npt like back in the day high risk high reward kinda thing? also what really made me quit rs is no value for money anymore. u can pk all day long and it wouldnt be worth it moneywise, thats the problem for me i mean 100m means nothing now.

 

They added off hand weapons. :\

 

they removed special attacks and made some kind of world of warcraft combat bar

 

I wouldn't say it sucks, they have just updated it and attempted to improve it.

It's more skiller-focused now.
