Update me on range.

Ok, I haven't played in a long long time. I'm perm muted so would ask about in RuneScape but would like to know which is the quickest way to get 88 range from level 70? Seeing as new bows/bolts etc have been added during this year could anyone update me on which to use? Is it worth Range Pcing also? Finally I have 20m to spend on armour to help me with Range Bonus, what should I buy? Any help greatly appreciated.

 

Get a regular magic shortbow, mith arrows, and train range at pc.

Buy dark bow if you have money

 

Well, since you've been gone, Rune Crossbows have come out, those have a huge amount of a different types of ammo you can use, with a max hit ranging from 20, to 59 (with my 70 range) plus, you have your dark bow... Way overpowered, I thought range was fine the way it was but with the dark bow you are able to hit about 50 damage in three seconds time.

If I were you I'd just use the standard magic shortbow for training, and if you are rich buy the darkbow for the spec.
