Unplug my modem?

Hiya, thanks for looking at my thread.

I have read (here on sythe) that unplugging your modem resets your IP adress. Firstly I want to know if this is true and to what extent (Would RS still know it's you?)

I understand they can singly track my account, and if I bot too much it will be banned. But I assume if they ban one of your accounts for macroing, they begin to watch your IP for more suspicious activities. Would supposedly changing my IP be an effective way to counteract this?

Thanks for reading through. I know it is confusing the way I put it but if you could give me some advice (Such as this is a completely stupid thing to do and does nothing ^^) that would be nice. Thanks

 

if you dont want your ip to get blocked by Jagex. Just use an IP changer.
