    Hello fellas

I'm in my last year of school I've been doing engineering/science/maths classes.

My school is specialist in automotive. I can't decide what subjects I want to do at university.

My 2 favorites being Electronics Tech/Eng or automotive Tech/Eng

    What do you guys suggest?
If your are studying engineering then would doing a Tech degree easier etc.. just give me a little insight! cheers

before you tell me to go see a career adviser I'm seeing one next week.

Thanks for the input much appreciated. I've just done a little research and found a course named "Automotive Electronics" which sounds really awesome. But I'm not sure if I want to specialise this early or not. Cause engineering is really difficult etc..

Anyways Burdock great career choice my dad was a Civil Technician/Engineer (Basically Architect he was offered scholarship to study Architecture but refused as he worked out he made more money as a Technician so consider Civil engineering. Just don't steer into DT as that's currently a dead end job aswell as industrial designer.

It's totally up to you, but you should research obtaining a Technical Engineering diploma vs. regular Engineering degree.

    Here's a quick descriptive difference: http://www.ehow.com/facts_5871932_civil-vs_-civil-engineering-diploma.html

Getting an engineering degree will offer you much more in the job world opposed to a Technical Engineering Diploma. Totally up to you though.

(I am a Sophomore in Civil Engineering by the way.)
