The 2 best underground rap cd's in my oppinion is three six mafias Mystic Stylez, and project pat's Ghetty green. That shit is way before they were mainstream, straight up thug shit.

"Dance with the Devil" is the most intense underground rap ever, once you've heard the whole song, it will literally change your life

I have overlistened to Mystic Stylez, my friend used to play it just about every morning on the way to school along with Dr. Dre's "The Chronic". As far as 'underground' goes though I like a lot of stuff Anticon puts out. Del Tha Funkee Homosapien is very good too with all of his aliases

 

Currently? Tech N9ne is the best, no doubt. His lyrics are simply amazing.
