unable to log

    unable to log

    i have a router d-link di-624 but when i try the default username and password un=admin
    pw=(leave blank)
    i get an error, i can log on with un=user
    pw=(leave blank)
    but i cant change anything because it says i need to be loged as admin to make changes,i already tried to unplug the router and press reset 30 sec but that still dont work.

    Perhaps someone has changed your admin password. You should of changed it to start with to prevent people from messing with your settings. Best thing to do is hold the reset button on ur router to restore to factory settings then set it up again and change the admin password this time.

    Step 1 Locate the reset pinhole on the back of the unit.

    Step 2 With the unit powered on, press and hold the Reset button.

    Step 3 Hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds.

    Step 4 Release the Reset button.

    Step 5 The unit will reboot. Allow 20-30 seconds before reconnecting.

    Step 6 The device is now at factory defaults.

    Note: Do not recycle power during the reset procedure.

    The default user name for most D-Link devices is admin and the password is left blank.

    i tried 3 times and the tird time it works!thank you for the help

    no problem, just make sure this time you change ur admin pass. :)
