Two factor authenticator fail.

As title says above the two factor authenticator doesn't seem to work on my device ( Android ) i've installed that program which is shown in the "how to get it working" but it constantly pop up a message giving me an error and that the code doesn't seem to be the right one. The program reads the bar code easy but it doesn't work whenever i try and type the code.

 

I had this same issue with an android device. How I fixed it was by installing a different authenticator. Try google authentication or duo mobile and see if that fixes your problem.

 

Or it could be a problem with your time settings on your phone.
Try and set it to automatic update, that sometimes fixes the problem.

Also, don't forget to write down your backup code in case you loose your phone/app.

 

Edit: Works fine on my iphone, i think it was due to the phone (fly iq or something) the phone is kinda old but still works fine, i will use my iphone then to put that code on.
