Had I told them that, they would have beaten the shit out of us and made up some bullshit reason to arrest us then and there. They were the biggest asses I've ever seen.

 

Well, they could potentially charge you with trespassing on private property, but that is ALL they have against you.

 

Either you're B.S.'ing us or those weren't real cops. If they wanted to arrest you they would've done so then, and no cop walks towards someone completely who's unarmed and cooparative with a knife...

 

Tbqh, if I was a cop and had to deal with the four of us, I would want to have something to protect myself too. We could all have had weapons and he wouldn't have known. As far as not getting arrested goes, that is why I thought they may have just been fucking with us to teach us a lesson. They were definitely real cops, although they weren't in uniform, I saw badges and I saw their cars on the way out.

 

You've never heard of a fake cop? LOL... I'm not saying that's definately what it was, but they do exist. With full cars, uniforms, badges, everything.

 

I have heard of fake cops, but never with a regular car. They looked exactly the same as normal cop cars.

Also, if I were to be arrested for burglary, how much jail time is it? (I'm in USA)

This place is pretty out of the way; It was pretty obvious that we had come there for the abandoned house.

I don't know how far they take the law in the U.S. but I'm pretty certain that they can't charge you for anything more then trespassing on property, no criminal damage or theft/burglary or any of that other bullshit.

 

im going to call bullshit on the cop with a knife. no cop carries a knife and holds it while approaching someone. they are law enforcement, not gangsters. (just to have resources in here, my father is a police officer and he thinks your story about the cop with a knife is crap) unless you have crooked cops of course
and as for getting in trouble, dont worry about it, ive been caught hanging out with a bunch of kids who were blazin their heads off.. cop just told me to go home, nothing happened (been 3 months)
