To many bots?

Is it just me, or is there so many more bots then there has ever been?

 

It's not just you. RuneScape's botting/blackmarket community has become more and more mainstream, so many more people are joining into gold farming, etc.

 

Ya there are too many, some bots a good for Runescape but it's just gotten way out of hand

 

Scorc's Garden theres like 40+ people in each world farming GP

 

to many bots people who use bots such as free powerbot bots and rsbuddy should just be insta banned and let all of us nexus users thrive

Clearly the people here were not around for the peak of Aryan. Does anyone have some old screenshots of the hordes of yew bots from back then?

I will admit there's a lot more bots lately than there has been for a long time.

Heck, power fishing...

there were like 100 people power fishing on this low pop server, out of them two talked...

a fish spot disappears and horde run over to the same exact other fish pool.

im just playing legit and running around, trying tricks i used to be able to do.

I see that commonly botted resources (fish, logs, runes, ores.... have massively dropped in ge price. (Heck, i bought 200K @ 2 gp in the first 48 hours of playing on this acct... and am hoping it'll go back up to 5 or 6 (where it should be) eventually.)


I Hope jagex cracks down on crappy botting, i hate seeing these afk bots swarming in every server...

I run 6 computers atm with 3-12 bots each (Not all set up yet, mind you. only 7 accounts botting so far, and just autofighting or wood chopping at the GE) and it's fairly easy to manage conversing with players while botting, so It makes them all look like legit players that people like to see more of around the game.

that in contrast to the hordes that are swarming resources around RS...

Theres just going to be more and more bots and less legits.

 

lol there's just as many or not even more! you just can't tell because Jagex randomised the clothing when you make a new account, if they hadn't than things would be different lol

 

I only bot fishing and I cook the goods so the economy isn't effected. Back in '05, you practically couldn't find a bot anywhere. You go to the major fishing zones in F2P and there are about 50+ bots per spot.

 

I've been playing Runescape for a long time and I would have to disagree who says that bots were worse back in the day. Was there a lot back then? Yes, but they were mainly used by the gold farmers in China. Also, bots were not as advanced and couldn't do as many tasks. The majority of bots aleast as far as f2p is concerned were cutting yews.

Now a days bots are deffinetly much more advanced and are much easier for people to get a hold of. Now that they are more public more people are botting then ever before.
