To Catch A Predator

So Perverted Justice basically has a group of people (over 18) pretending to be 12-13 year old girls and talk to guys noline and have them come to a set-up house where Chris Hansen proceeds to ask them some questions and then arrest them. I understand that it's fucked up and they are guilty of coming, but the whole set-up system does not feel truly legal, as the people are basically lured into commiting a crime. Is this right?

 

Why not?
If you can be so easily "lured", even enough to travel the distances that these guys travel, just to commit a particular type of crime, then by all means.

It's fucking retarded, if the girl tells some stranger on the internet her address, tells him to come over, and then actually lets him in the house and lets him stick his dick in her pussy, then I don't know how the fuck it is the guy's fault. Maybe if the show allowed the activities to continue to make sure they actually fall through with it, then it doesn't matter, they would do it if the guy got naked and jumped in the bed.

Also, The person that killed himself, didn't even show up to the kids house. But they still were going to arrest him.

 

I have seen a episode of this where MSNBC catches the same guy 3 times in 48 hours... 0_o

I think this is actually very immoral towards the predators, eventhough they are "sick fucks".
I think the faces of the pedos should be blurred, they are now scarred for the rest of their life. Sure they did something stupid, but now everybody knows he's a sick fuck. You got a justice system to deal with people like this, not the media.
