Time Before Banned?

I'm wondering how long after you stopped botting you can still be banned from it. Is it a day? Months? Years? Never?

If you've ever been banned from botting, please vote in the poll. Tell me how long after you stopped botting (for good on that account) you were banned for it.

 

I've tested it on an account before, i only took a few hours, but I've heard it can take up to months, not sure what thats about.

 

Well after I get 99 cooking, I'm going to stop botting. I just don't want to waste my time if I'll be banned weeks later.

 

Usually hours I would suspect. The monthly wait I would assume would only occur if you are infact botting for months or suiciding.

on my current account never

 

i got myself fm 99 with arbiter's firemaking bot , took me 4 days to get from 86 to 99. 16/7 , and now i stopped botting (got it 99 like 2-3 days ago and havent got any report or any sign of a ban).

 

I think it's days! BUT
Like 2 years ago, I started to fletch with bot of course, The bot was a piece of shit, I was watching it for 10 minutes, and all I saw is that my account got disconnected, then I checked and it got banned!

 

I found that it usely takes around 3 weeks before you get banned for macroing.

 

Months at latest. If you've been doing something really obvious i.e clicking the same two pixels for a while then a ban will come within a few hours.

 

Years? I don't think that option has ever occurred. Perhaps, replacing that option with weeks/months would be better. Personally, the two times I have been banned from botting were straight after I stopped botting/accomplished a 99. I have heard that some people have gotten banned a few weeks after they stopped.
