When your listening to music the first time, do you pay attention to the way it sounds or the lyrics??
The way it sounds, but lyrics are important too. If I like the sound but not the lyrics I'll look for more songs from that particular artist.
It depends. For artists who are very meaningful to myself, I pay a lot of attention to the lyrics. With more random artists I don't take as much notice.
Usually the way it sounds. If the song grows on me generally I try to learn the lyrics though, to achieve some deeper meaning with the songs.
