The Thing

I heard it's already, has anyone seen this yet? If you have rate 1-5

 

The original version of The Thing is a masterpiece. Some of the best monster puppetry, well paced, and a great tense atmosphere. Shame they're making a hollywood prequel, i suspect itll butcher the Thing universe.

 

Those kind of movies look soo stupid too me... Idk..

 

4/5 because of how well it led into "The Thing"

It was a pretty good movie, but they relied to much on the gore than actual scares.

 

It wasn't predominantly a horror film, but rather a science fiction thriller with horror elements. The gore wasn't over the top in any way, the creatures that mutilated themselves and came apart at different limbs were straight from the source material. There was no excessive violence when you contrast this film amongst all of the post-2000 slasher films.

 

Supposedly it's supposed to be really good and scary,
I'm going to see that an Paranormal Activity 3 tonight with my gf,
Hopefully it's well worth my money.

 

You're referring to the prequel to The Thing, not the original, which came out in 1982.

 

You can't tell me my opinion is wrong? Thats what I thought of it, and its ok if you think different, but if I think there was too much gore, then thats what I think.

 

You must be very sheltered then, when it comes to hollywood violence.

 

I'd give it a 3. Was good, but not great. Worth a watch either way, especially if you saw the first one.

 

I saw this movie a month ago and like this movie. This movie is very interesting and want to watch this movie again.
