The evil within

So I was playing the evil within earlier today, I got to the dog boss he is pretty fucked up looking I know, (yes I haven't played it too much, too interested in ESO) I was watching videos on the bosses last night and it took someone 3-5 mins to kill it?


I pulled out my shot gun, shot it maybe 4-5 times or something within the space of 10-20 seconds and it was dead. What is up with that? am I like extremely lucky or something? lmao.
