Sythe Server.

Looking for around 4-5 people to start this up. PM me please, I need dedicated people for this. With 1.8 out, I'd like to see this section revived.

Haha, I guess they'll all get updated for 1.8 soon enough, it's the biggest one yet. Although I think it's 1.9 that's going to rape. I would join the server as the previous one was greifed and shut down.

 

I own a server that can be up 99.9%. There are no plug-ins since I cleared the off after 1.8 was released, but it can be a whitelist server until we can get them back.

And griefing will result in a permanent kick. No exceptions, no chances back. Period. That's what ruins servers.

 

What kind of mods do you have on your server?

There are currently no plugins, so griefers be banned. Downloading bukkit tonight so we'll have a spawn town and some plugins installed tonight or tomorrow morning. Be aware that whatever you build tonight may get deleted once we update.

 

Do you know what plugins you're installing? Or would you like me to toss a few (links) out that might be useful? How many slots you have?

 

Sure, go ahead and link me some, and we'll look them over. As of now, all we're installing is moderator commands, world edit, lockette, and PvP area plugins. It'll just be a basic survival server until it becomes more popular, and then maybe we'll add more things like shops and more items or whatever if it's possible.

I used that when I first got Minecraft, helped me out loads. Although it may look and feel a bit different now as it's 1.8, it still does however teach you the ground basic's of Minecraft. If you need help or have a question about the game, feel free to send me a PM or post here and we'll help you out.

 

Ok the first 4 are pretty much standard... so let me just go scour the minecraft forums to find a few others

I would also suggest:

NiftyWarp (Pretty much sets private/public/hidden warps to different places)
TeleportRequest (can teleport straight to a user/friend upon acceptance)
PlgSetspawn (this sets the spawn to a new area [in case the spawn is really weird])

You might also look into Runecraft (pretty easy to find), although as others say - that is more or less like "witchcraft" in the game. :laugh:
