    I've tried putting an avatar, but each picture I use it says "This is not a valid image file." It's JPEG. Help please? Thanks!

    It could potentially be a variant codec of JPEG. If you have image editing software like Photoshop you could open it and save it as a PNG, they are optimal and the best quality.
