    Strained hip flexor?

I'm pretty sure I have a strained hip flexor and I've had it for like 4 weeks and I've been icing it and shit and it's still hurting. Has anyone else ever had this and know how to fix it? Because I play football and I don't wanna miss any of my games because of this.

Slowly stretch it and loosen it up. I've done this several times. Stretching is your best friend, heat a little bit before doing exercises to get warmed up.

Take some ibuprofen's throughout the day as well.

During Ultimate Frisbee season i pulled it, its not fun.

Basically rest and ice or icyhot is the best way to go. Still be active, but try to sit down / lay down more often than you usually do. Just relax and take it easy. Don't rush any recovery. The worst thing you can do is try and play hard only to find out you aren't fully recovered and further the recovery process and/or potentially damage it even more.

Some more good advice by Dunworry2. Personally, if possible, I'd see a professional. Don't fk with injury. I've seen so many people think they're toughing it out and end up so much worse.

This, you should go see a doctor or a physiotherapist, there's a chance you'll just make it worse if you try to just stay with it.
