I am finally going to get WoW because I am getting far too bored. I was wondering, what should I get as a starter? What are the recommend specs for a computer to play WoW on a reasonable graphics setting. Thanks
From the wow website. Intel Pentium® III 800 MHz or AMD Athlon 800 MHz (Pentium 4 or higher) 512 MB or more of RAM ( 1 gig of ram if you want to do anything else besides JUST play wow) 32 MB 3D graphics card with Hardware Transform and Lighting, such as NVIDIA® GeForce™ 2 class card or above (A dedicated video card would be awesome in this case even something like a 7800 would be super helpful) DirectX® 9.0c (included) and latest video drivers 6.0 GB available HD space (Hard drive space shouldn't be a problem) 4x CD-ROM drive A 56k or better Internet connection (Dial up can work but not suggested... A low DSL connection would suite you way better) Whats in ( ) is my suggestion. And as for a starter? Depends what you prefer doing. Melle or Ranged type of combat? Pets or no? etc.
I can help design a computer that fits your budget. Additionally, would you like to participate in the recruit a friend program with me? We both get some random achievement and mounts i think and you get 3x the XP of normal leveling up till level 60 which is HUGE.
I think only the person who refers gets a free mount (zebra.) And the triple xp only happens if the recruited person is training with the person who recruited him.
I think you have to be in a party with the referer to gain the 3x Xp and the rocket isn't the good one, think you still need riding requirement.
Well he won't get the mount, he's being recruited. And that's not the point of the thread anyways, so let us all get back on topic
