Starting over?

So basically I've been a bit bored of Runescape lately. So I thought I'd spice things up a bit by starting over. I'm not going hardcore like some, dropping everyting and doing DIY, but I just want to start over with no wealth. I'll just invest my cash in rares, and act like they are not there. And start with an empty bank apart from my untradeables.

Has anyone else done this before because they were bored, and did you like it or not? Would like to hear some experiences.

I did it, it was fun for a while, however,
why don't you just try using a different type of an account?
Like atm, I'm going back to my main,
and leaving my pure of 99 range and 94 mage at level 89 cmb
if you're interested, i'll sell cheap thru a med.

As for the OP, starting over is actually a very long process and you should consider it. If you're looking to make money off of rares from time's sake, this would be a good choice. It'll be an extremely long process to rebuild and max it out, but it'll give your rares time to fluctuate their prices. I'd say you should go for it :laugh: .

 

personally i would never do this since its just a waste of time. Try to max your main out instead

 

I lost my main to a hacker when i was on off time about a year back.. i moved and apparently my ip changed and the original log in email and stuff isnt enough to recover it.. either way its all said and done im not getting it back. Starting over was actually really refreshing to me now im up to 102 no summoning and its starting to feel mainish especially with all the grinding. Sill had a good time my old main was a couple years old and so reliving the lower lvls was kinda cool to do. i wouldnt have done it had i recovered my account though honestly

I think you should do it, because you rares will have enough time to raise.
In mean time, you can just make a fresh new good account.

i've done it before, it shakes things up abit, you will start to regret it after a month or so, but then you start to surpass your old account, and before you know it you got a better account then your last.
