Start playing LoL?

Soo. I have never ever played this game before, but all my friends irl play it. 9 out of 10 basically play, they tell me to start playing, but i tried it once and it's so hard.. Is there any tips and should i start playing it it worth it? Please help!

 

Play the tutorial etc. use websites such as mobafire for help on champions, try to find a champion that you like, for a starter champion (can be bought after a few games) play someone like Master Yi, very easy to get the hang of and very strong.

I would NOT recommend mobafire for guides. Better to look at solomid.net/lolpro or even lolking.

There's a very high learning curve in league so don't be discouraged if you're not scoring quite as well as some of your friends.

You should try the game. It´s kinda boring in the beging but when you have learn how to play. You are going to love this game. I do. Add me if you want so my ign is Fittkärringen. Yes its a kinda weird name but it´s a swedish name I playing on EUW

 

Don't quit because it's hard! Once you get the hang of it, it's considerably easy.

 

It was hard for us all in the beginning, besides me because I played DotA 1 before LoL. xD

 

DotA Pudge was gay... I hated him so much, OT, keep in mind if you spend like $10 on RP, you'll end up spending more and more, try to not spend too much

 

When you first start playing you should play against bots, once you get a feel for the game you can go ahead and start playing normals.

 

I don't think bots are good for starters at all, they're too easy to play against.

I tried that shit, had no clue what was going on...

Just don't give up, and you'll progressively get better. You're going to suck for a long time, but if you play with friends and have fun, you'll still enjoy it. Once you actually learn how to play, you'll have so much fun with it. Just keep playing, only way to learn is practice

 

Another tip, I personally find watching streams very helpful, many streams currently run for many hours, for instance Dyrus' stream runs for many hours a day, tune in and you may learn something new everytime!
