Speeding.

Best story ever.

Just bought a pocket bike from a state trooper and as i'm leaving he says, "don't get pulled over!, text me and let me know if you do!". So about 30 minutes later on the highway, i get pulled over, texted him after the cop took my license and regristration, he instantly came back and gave me my license after telling me to thank the officer that I texted.

The guy later explains to me that he used his radio to call in to the officer that pulled me over and told him to let me go.

 

Lol, you were in good hands.

I would have loved to see the cops face as he walked back to you and gave you your license back.

My dads business partner knows every cop in the 7th District here in Philadelphia.
I got pulled over for doing 121 on the Boulevard, got pulled over, gave him a call right before the cop got out.
As soon as the cop reaches my window, I hand him the phone and tell him 'its for you."
He asks who it is, I state "your boss."
He takes the phone, needless to say, 30 seconds later he gives me the phone and says "have a nice day." xD

So I have a personal "Get out of Jail" free card.
But only for the 7th District, cause if I got pulled over 2 miles before where I was, I would have been stopped by a Southampton cop, and that would've been bad

How could you get pulled over for speeding on a pocket bike? Don't those things go like a max of 50?

Pocket bike was in my car, I was driving.

I have this priveledge as well. Just never use it until after I'm issued the ticket, just thought it was funny that this guy helped me out so quickly.

 

Yay police corruption! But that's good I guess, I just have something against people who get out of trouble with the law because of who they know (not you personally)

My dad's ex-girlfriend has had over 35 crimes and 4-5 felonies swept under the rug because her mother works high up in the county's judicial branch. Including forgery of her drivers license and hair cutting license, espionage, assaults, domestic violence, theft from her friends and jobs, and premeditated attempt at murder when she loosened the lugs of my dad's other girlfriend's wheels and superglued the inner door handles closed. (when that didn't kill her, she decided to just put tack strips under her wheels instead).

tl;dr : fuck da police!

Man you are so lucky! You got like a huge weight lifted from your shoulder as I would say it.
To be honest, everytime I see a cop I start to freak out inside even if I keep it cool and look calm.
Bad history with the cops and law when I was a teen. I could use something like this since I always have the need for speed most of the time. Have to learn to control since I do know its wreckless, its like an addiction for me though.

So far haven't been caught speeding yet because my police tracker and radar hasn't failed me yet but gotta keep alert and not rely fully on it.

I wasn't speeding that badly, so it's likely that I wouldn't have gotten an actual speeding ticket... But I still don't like fines.. Ha.

 

Yeah that's the main thing. You make money from working hard or some other way and then you have to pay a fine that you could easily avoid it. They are pretty big fines as well. x.x

 

For a speeding ticket, yeah probably just over $200 (more than I have in my bank at this time). But a non moving violation wouldn't be much.

2 of my mates were just killed, speeding. The whole point in being prosecuted for speeding is to stop you doing it for your own safety. Him preventing justice for you doesn't help you.

 

That's pretty awesome if you ask me lol. I have a friend who's Mom is a state trooper, and he's gotten out of a lot of trouble because of that.
