I think it looks good how long did it take you to make?

 

It took me a few hours to figure out how to make it lol.

 

They look good They have a nice "splatter" effect, and have nice backgrounds.

 

i think the text needs to stand out more from the background

 

Its not supposed to, thats the hole point.

 

Nothing special really, slapping some text onto a background and putting a gradient on it. It's really basic stuff. Should work on building up a piece - foreground, background, midground - the take effects and give them a sense of depth by thinking about the piece in 3D. Which will include light and shadow, depth of field, and all that good stuff. Work on actually making a piece and not just slapping text onto a background.

 

Yeah, I was going to try to make the text in side 3dishIm gonna have a play around with it any way =)

 

Not a fan of the black stroke around the text, it's too thick and you could have made the text readable in other ways like light sourcing, or a reflection etc. Try it in a 3d program and then see how that looks in comparison
