somebody help me

when ever i try to post a picture it says the file size is to big. like it says the limit it 19kb and the picture is 146kb what am i doing wrong??

 

Upload to imageshack.us.

Put the link you get between tags.

If the file is too big for imageshack, change the filetype.

 

Correct me if I am wrong, 146 is a bigger number than 19?
