Some suggestions

:: Vouches

No vouches should be given for, or can be claimed for

- Lending items
- Free services (I know this is going to be major)
- Transactions less than $1 or 1M RSGP (or equivalent value)

:: Bidding

- Cannot bid for $1 for accounts (people are post-spamming using this)

:: Infractions

- A normal infraction given by sectional due to a mistake made in that section can be retracted IF

The user finds a secret sentence among the rules posted on the section. Only 1 such pardon is allowed per person.

Just my thoughts as things are blowing out of proportion these days.

 

Support this portion, it has been advocated before but nothing has come of it.

Infractions are warnings, i dont see the point in reversing a warning.

 

If the infraction was indeed a mistake, shouldn't it be removed without the need to go looking for something?

Edit: Nvm, I read that wrong, otherwise I agree with the rest of what you said.

 

I agree with the no vouches with transactions under a dollar. I hate when people want me to go first for something and they have all of their vouches from 76k tricks or minor things like that that require no trust.

Seems like your Just brining more excuses for Bans/Infractions I say leave it the way it is.


Every day I see more and more Suggetions that would just slow and make this site more of a "RULE" palce reminds me of work/school this site needs to be somthing to enjoy not a site full of dumb rules like these.

Agree with the vouching suggestions. Vouches should only be given where there is an exchange of value and trust involved between 2+ parties.

Bans are bans. If you deserve to be banned. Then ya you should be. You are right in the fact that rules will drive more people crazy as ban is at the end (eg: too many infractions -> Ban)

But Mods should be more helpful and soft when it comes to sectional rules. Explain the rule and tell the user to change something. 2nd/3rd time, you can infract

I thought infractions work like RS...expires after certain time?

 

I support, and on the topic of vouches I don't think you should be able to count a vouch you were given for buying something or hiring a middleman. For example you buy 10m from someone and they vouch you, I don't see the point in this.

 

Yes but stuff like No Vouches for Free Services and Lending will make it even harder for people to get any trust and start on Sythe and befor I came here every one on a other forum I use said its full of scammers and enless you have vouches ect you have no chance of becoming trusted or buy/sell stuff.

If it wernt for The few Services I done I would not have traded half of what I have.

I, at one or another point I've gazed other forums' black markets. I've seen mills going for much lower than Sythe (could be scammers still)

This is why you could "sell" and "buy" mills safely in Sythe in compared to other sites. The level of trust is higher here and hence the prices. I dont see why gaining "trust" should be a "faster" process through lending items and giving out free items.

I can come in with 10M, give out 100 76k tricks and boom, start my free MM thread, become OMM, Mod, Admin scam and boom - goner!

The whole thing is to make the above more time consuming. So whoever is doing it would change in the middle as I've read in MANY high pardons. Vaders ask for pardon because they say "I've scammed (and got banned before) but now I am part of this community, I am addicted, please let me stay on this account"

This wouldn't even happen if they had to wait and see what the community had to offer (while scamming is in their mind)
