Some feedback here.

Instead of just banning the spammers, why not delete their posts to? I mean hell, the posts are the reason your banning them for, yet you don't get rid of the advertisements >.>

Just saying, when you ban someone for spamming..why not delete the advertisement?!

There was a post just like this in suggestions.
Why should sythe waste some of their time, getting rid of the posts when they can simplu select "lock" and shove it in archives.

 

If the mods have the time, then I support this.

 

It's not as if we do it deliberately, it's a matter of no Moderator seeing it.

 

When reporting spammers, can't you view the original post which contains the spam? Then just delete it, doesn't seem that hard.

 

Thanks for the example of spam. Yes, it's a good idea. I have another example:

In general discussion / off topic, some guy posted some nudity he found on Wikipedia. Billyy was nice enough to lock it, but the post was still there, so if any unsuspecting little kids clicked on it,

At least the posts should be edited out.
