About GFX sales here on sythe.

How about instead of trying to prove our worth to the not so many people that ask for gfx and instead refer to someone else if we think ourselves aren't for that particular job.

For example; "Looking for sig and avatar"
Next post: "I can do this for you add me"

That mostly goes on for about another 4 replies. And the guy requesting doesn't know what the hell to do.

Instead, this should happen; "Looking for sig and ava"
"Oh, I'm sorry i don't think i really up to that, but i know someone who can, let me give you his/her contact details."


With or not with this idea?

 

This really kind of takes the premise out of capitalism. 'Oh hey, I can't do this but X can.' In my opinion the market is about advancing your skills while making a little money, so if the project is difficult and you take it on and learn new things while completing the project then its a bonus. The market, at the moment, is saturated with GFX Shops which gives plenty of options and without putting ourselves out there you won't make any money. The shops are really more of a portfolio to show examples and display your prices. If you want quality then you have to realize that you are going to pay more, but if you don't wanna pay then you can get a piece from one of the newer artists.
