Smudging... Semi.

Unsure if I should replace my current SOTW entry with this, the foundation of it is mainly smudged using my Wacom tablet.

This one you got two focal points going on. I like your current one more. seems to have more detail to it.

 

Hell yes, and if you mean semi as in PR semi then this comes very very close. I really love the composition, the smudging which fits perfectly and the very subtle colours. Hands down, one of my favourites from you.

 

I can't tell if it's topaz or overdone anisotropic diffuse or something. but edges and contours are too sharp, it somewhat kills the flow.

Effects are nice, though negative space is too prominent and the black could be replaced with textures or different secondary effects.
