Skin issue.

Is it just me who sees the cut off point on the banner, so the star/nebula background turns to just the background black colour?

My monitor resolution is relatively small as well (1440x900).

 

Always been like that for me.

 

I have the same issue. My screen is fairly big but I think every one has this problem.

I have the exact same resolution and I have certainly noticed this same thing.

I just didn't think it was important enough to make a post about, though if it is really easy to change I wouldn't be against seeing it done. If not, it's too small of an issue to worry about.
