Skillers

Are skillers ruined right now with the come of EoC? I mean, it's not possible for others to see they're skillers, right? The only thing you see now is 'Skill level:...'

 

Skillers are never "ruined" just other people will have a harder time knowing. If you want to be a skiller just for the fact of being a low level then perhaps you are doing it for the wrong reasons. Nevertheless if you toggle your weapons to have them out (nothing happens if you have no weapon) they will see your combat level instead of total level.

 

^ this completely. They aren't ruined, as they still exist. They'd have to find a way for it to show their combat level instead of their total, so they could prance around in fancy skillcapes at low levels. Tbh jagex should make a skiller cape, which is where you've maxed all non-cmb related stats.

 

I thought it wasn't possible to change the skill level to combat level and I really like it when people see my Dungeoneering cape at level 4.

Also, is it possible now to get 99 Prayer without levelling combat?

I don't understand, why there ruined? In my opinion Pures are effected from this update, but not the skillers. You still can skill on low lvl? Where is the problem. lol

 

Not ruined at all, I myself have one maxed skiller....and another one in the making

 

Jack said it but I thought I'd point out for clarity: If you right click the minimize ability bar buttoj and choose toggle sheath, it will change what level is shown. If you have it in a combat stance it shows combat level.

 

the eoc didn't ruin skillers as i just made one myself. The eoc has made it rather easy for some skills to train now such as mining ores, you can power drop them using the hotbar.

The eoc has just changed combat, and honistly for a P2P skiller there are now some new outfits with the whole duel wielding thing, you could make some nifty outfits with a mix of a crossbow dagger or something idk.

Back OT: No skillers are not ruined, and people can still see your combat level if they have there weapon out i think, im not 100% sure of how that works but it's cool to be able to see ones total level now

 

My Summoning skiller was ruined, heh.
