Site needs some updates!!!!

Sythe has been in the same skin and the same for too long!
I know there's the "Sythe.org new" skin but it's really buggy and no one uses it.
Most forums such as rsbot.net have updated their sites and added some really cool things that makes their communities really fun.
I think it's time we add the following.
Compacting useless categories:

Has way to many categories they should be made "Mini games" and PKing.

Bigger avatar size limit:
Sometimes those HQ pictures get ruined with the 80x80 limit;it should be increased to at least 120x120
NO MORE KEY SELLING IN Non-virtual items!:
People can easily find a keygen and make shit loads of money for something they didn't buy.
This is called piracy.

There is nothing wrong with the current Sythe theme. The colors look nice. No need to fix something that isn't broken.

Rep system will be abused.

Do you realize that the examples you listed for categories (especially minigames & pking) that those are subforums? They are fine.

I agree with the avatar sizes, although it won't particularly affect me either way.

Rep system will be abused by the new users who make accounts just to rep+ their main account. Then the mods would be in ankle-deep shit trying to fix that and ban a lot of people.

Reputation System will be abused. Mates will rep their mates, and so on. Thank you button is the same, and it is really pointless. If you want to say thanks, just post it.

I agree with you on in the Runescape idea, but the gaming is fine.

Why do you need to have a bigger avatar size? You say you lose HQ, but I don't think you do. Don't downsize a picture, find a picture which is the right size.

I think if you use a Keygen to get your codes, and sell, it should fringe upon Stolen Items.

 

Well I think we are a need of a new skin.
This is old looks like Sythe is slowly dying.
I have removed the reputation/thanks system.
I still think the keygens could be used by mods for example "daily" and avoid ban.

 

I don't see what is wrong with the skin. If it was ugly, and was not very user friendly, then I would understand needing a change, but there is nothing wrong with it.

People legally obtain their keys in a legal 100% free way. But most people sell them 100% legally, legitimate keys DIRECTLY from Microsoft. You just don't know about it.

 

How exactly can you tell?
There isn't a sure way to tell.
I can get a key from a keygen and register it for example windows 7 and Microsoft won't block it.There's some keys I believe called developers keys.
Plus it simply does not make sense to sell keys at such prices like 5 USD for software that's 100 USD and above.

I think it should stay with the same color for signatures and avatar but at least the logo on top needs to go.....
