Silab shutdown?

someone know why silab as been suspended? non of the clients for it work anymore

 

ya its weird anything from silabsoft.org is all messed up....something about host gator and like..... server having difficulties or something.... thats all i know.

 

Yup, i think silab crashed because of an error in the site but this will be fixed soon.
1 week as a max limit i suppose.

Miss Silabsoft's site is down because she had a huge flaw where you register an account and you can change your applet settings for the client. Such as, if someone goes to http://silbasoft.org/index.php?user=WiZzi1, it would show a banner, footer, etc of what WiZzi1 set instead of my regular settings. She made it so users could register their server and have a personal applet of their own for the login. There was a very big flaw in this because she made it herself though - This made it able to exploit the code to log in as Silabsoft and edited her settings for a redirection/iframe.

In other words Silabsoft is a PHP novice and can not properly sanitize a page... it was a simple hack.

bopo deluxe, maybe you should read some of haxerownsmopar's posts, he has previously stated that he was banned from MoparScape Forums and does not have any desire to return, I also believe this thread was made in conjunction with what the current status of the Silabsoft network, and not the site's members preferences on the private server developer communities. I believe I have already answered the question and no further discussion is really needed on the matter, but hey, I am new, what do I know?
