Signatures...

Look, I hate to be 'that guy' or some stuck up christian parent sounding douche, but is there any reason that people feel the need to post images showing a lot of cleavage or pictures that are only a few pieces of thread away from being nudity?

I'd hate for some kid who's like 12, to be browsing the site and then his mom asks what he's doing on the computer, sees the image and bans him from using Sythe.org.

I know that's a big stretch, but it could happen, so I propose we keep more G images in our sigs lol.

 

Honestly you are sounding like that christian douche. This is the 21st century, kids will see more than what we show in our sigs on t.v and on advertisements. If his mom bans him from sythe then hes not ready to be using the internet.

 

Free speech brah, same thing with the pot images in the sig. As Z said, if the worst thing this kid sees on the net/TV is some cleavage then he is going good.

Your signature should help express who you are, you should be aloud to put whatever you want as long as its not offensive.

And sexy women aren't offensive in this sausagefest.

 

No support, if your mom is bothering you about what you are doing on the computer, you shouldn't be on sythe.

 

I sent someone a PM asking him to change his because it was just a little over the top. I got flamed back. There's nothing in the rules for these 14 year old kids to get a boner at their own signature, I guess, but I agree that they are annoying most of the time.

♥Z♥'s 's on the right track. This is kind of the same thing as the "Encouraging others" suggestion. Anyone on Sythe should know by now how to handle seeing a quasi-pornographic sig. Still, there has to be a limit to what you can and can't have.
I think it's kinda funny to see that some users feel the need to flaunt their machismo online. Either they're so deep in the closet that they need to use those sigs to reassure themselves of their sexuality, or they just need a way to get hard without going through the complex procedures of porn

I'd like to see the signature content slightly more enforced. That one 'all you can eat' image that one guy has in his sig is perpetually dormant in the back of my sub-conscious now.

 

Current rules are just perfect. Nothing illegal, not image ads, no porn/gore, it allows free expression, and well, many others.

I once reported a signature showing alot of cleavage. I think it was "jeffs" signature. N4n0 answered it and said "no, if you dont agree with my decision to keep it, contact a global" so i left it.

I know it won't go through but I half support this. With my family, some quite young around me when im browsing through sythe I really don't like having to scroll quickly past someones signiture just to get to another post by them. It's also kinda awkward when my parents see (I'm not that young im 19). looking up hot picutures of attractive women isn't the normal in my family. I just think some of these sigs go a little over the top.

 

I remember receiving a PM from you stating that fact.

I'm really hoping that that comment was not directed/about me, as I simply replied back stating that n4n0 had already reviewed my signature and was okay with it.

However the next day, my signature was 'mysteriously' deleted.

If you have something to say, then say it as I am also tired of 14 year old kids on this forum.

I just find it more immature and "HEY LOOK I CAN SHOW A GIRL OPENING HER LEGS ON MY SIG" than offensive. More annoying than anything.
