Well, I don't really post here often, I sometimes lurk, but I need some input. A few weeks ago I broke up with my GF of 3 years(I'm 18 now) and that kind of bothered me, but I accept that it happened.

What I'm wondering is should I try and find another long timer or be Don Juan and just go for the old 'wham, bam, thank you ma'am' approach?

Whatever you want to do.. I personally don't know how people date someone every other week. I hate it and it's just someone trying to get laid. I always find it better to actually have a relationship..

 

Definatly slam every chick you can for a good couple of months at least, then "if" you ever get over it, go back into the long term stuff.

 

I would say for now, stay single and just talk to your friends and a few girls to get over her.
It's easy to just go and get laid but it's not easy to keep a stable relationship.

IF you choose to become married it would probably be a smarter choice to stay away from Sex with a bunch of different girls. I figure your going to be in college soon, and with that there are many parties, fun and etc. You can have fun at parties but it doesn't have to end in a sex adventure with a random girl. I personally would just try to focus on yourself with college (at least for the first year/semester) than see how things are going.

Well, personally, when my girlfriend broke up with me (we're back together now) I was going to just go out and bang every chick, do whatever I want, party... It was wrong and she stopped me. We were together for only 11 months, but I felt a strong connection with her, and I betrayed her... Anyways, this is getting on topic, so umm.. Essentially, relationships are tough, but they are rewarding. Will you ever have that feeling of warmth in your heart again if you just go out and slam every pussy you see? I mean, your cock might feel warm, but I bet you almost anything, you'll be longing for a relationship. Someone to hold... I mean, having a bit of time to screw around after a relationship isn't bad, but don't get carried away...

But yeah, I am going to be attending college next year, and I do intend to get married. However, I am only 18 and have quite awhile to worry about that. I just don't know if this would effect my future relationships(I don't plan on getting an STD)

 

you're 18 and going into college, honestly you will find many more women later in life.

your focus should be education first, and set your career, and if there is that special girl in college, you both know that you will support each other and take it slow

I would much rather recommend that path then the path of parties and one night stands.
