Should I create one?

I just recently brought home my brand new Windoes 7 HP laptop and created the System Recovery Disc before any downloading like I was suggest by the person from whom was working at the retailer. I am wondering whether I should create the System Restore Image? and my System Recovery Disc is only on one DVD-R that is 4.7GB big. Not much at all was used, only about 275MB big. Is this how it's normally suppose to be?

Create it in the other disc than your windows are.

 

If you plan to have computer problems that you can't fix, they I would do it. Otherwise, you can manually back up your data which is what I do. And yes that Is a normal size. It's smaller because you haven't downloaded anything yet
