    Okay, well i heard good things about linux, and even if its bad its a step up from Windows ME (i got it for free...) And i wanted to know if its possible for my (shitty) computer to be (up)graded to Linux.

    Also is it possible to get Linux for (quote)"free"(unquote)?

    Well ME is the worst OS out there so it would be wise to get linux. Your computer should be able to handle it but theres many types out there, there are many linux fanatics that will help you get the best one.

    Yes, you should get linux if you want a free OS better then ME. If you are willing to pay, XP/Vista are the best.
    Just google "Linux Ubuntu".
