seerhost - VPS

Hey
I have never used a VPS before and I have no knowledge of how to set up a VPS or use one. The only thing I know about them is what hey do.

Now I've just an add on Sythe advertising seerhost (you'll probably see the add at some point)

I was wondering.. Is it worth this 30.95 USD a month?

If I get it I will probably make a skilling service.

 

I would recommend PhotonVPS.

Purely because there are much more people on Sythe that can help you set up your VPS, which would benefit you immensely.

Also I have heard that people that have trialed both have preferred Photon over Seer.


Speaking from experience using my Photon VPS costing $40 a month.

Yes, it's totally worth it.

I run 4 Sorc Garden bots on it, atm making 150k an hour.
Projecting that, 600k an hour, 14.4m a day, and 360m in 25 days.

Take away the 40m for the subscription leaves you with 320m in a VPS period easily.

@ 0.5/m that leaves you with $160 - $40 = $120 profit.

Now of course this is Sorc Garden, and the profits of it are much higher than skilling, however the VPS is up 24/7, I have never witnessed a downtime, and it is exceptionally fast, efficient, and most of all you can make it self sufficient.

 

Hhmmm sounds tempting, but then I heard the ban rate for spec garden is really high? I'd also need to buy 4 accounts with the requirements and then buy 4 membership, with the chances of being banned high I'd lose those account easily..

Also...
Would it jepedise my main if I transferred the money fro those accounts to my main?
