Scholarships

I was just wondering if any of you guys have applied for scholarships. I mean like the ones you have to write essays for and submit. Have any of you guys won a scholarship contest? If so what was your essay like? Most of my essays are about my passion to learn, but I'm not too sure if thats what these people look for. I mean I know every contest is different but still, I want to hear your guyses opinions.

 

Can you go into more detail, like what the scholarships are for, or can it be anything?
