Scar "Target" Icon Missing

While running scar under a limited version of windows from which I have removed quite a bit of unnecessary services and other things that i don't need, I have discovered that the "Target" icon of , which allows the user to select the game window scar runs the script on, has completely vanished.

Does anyone have any idea what service / dll the target icon uses that would make it vanish? (and thus be non-functioning?)

 

not sure... but id jus tleave the services, EXCEPT for stull like AIM, MSN, etc... if u dont know what it is... leave it alone.

 

Well, i'm not really talking about services like AIM or MSN, but more along the lines of 'Application Gateway Layer' and 'COM+ Event System'

Typing "services.msc" into the windows run prompt may give a better example.

In any case, what I am really more focused on is what system object or dll does scar use to create the target icon, so that I can restore that functionality.

Can you post a list of your activated and deactivated services, its possible that your limited windows is actually missing the icon file from the windows directory.
