SCAR Help

Hey guys, im new to SCAR, as you can tell, and new to this site aswell =\ Well I was following 'Thick As Blood's' tutorial (the 'Running your first script' portion only, for I have SCAR 3.06 Divi, and the 'Download SRL' could be accessed through FILE-->DOWNLOAD SRL, and includes downloaded the same way). And while following this, doing everything said in the post, there was still a problem running Starblaster100's PowerSkills script (no offence to you, Starblaster). The script said it was for SCAR 3.0+ (me having 3.06) but it still doesn't work correctly. Every time I try to run it, as the tutorial said, I get the following error:

Line 1071: [Error] (19937:39): Invalid number of parameters in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.06\Scripts\PowerSkills.scar

Could someone please tell me what this error could mean, and/or possibly help me iron it out? It would be greatly appreciated

P.S Instead of opening the script from SCAR, I copy-pasted the text I got from opening it through WinRAR. Could that possibly lead to this problem? Or is it the same as copy-pasting as it is opening through SCAR?

PowerSkills 3.0 will only work with Scar 3.06 and SRL 3.7 (which comes in the PowerSkills 3.0 download). Once you've downloaded SRL 3.7 you have to go to your Scar 3.06 folder ---> Includes ---> SRL ---> SRL ---> Core ---> Login.scar. Go to line 28 and change the "GetColor(422, 480)" to "(GetColor(421, 480)". Save it and it will work.

I was just looking up more on what could have possibly gone wrong, and I read that same post you just sent me under the Starblaster100 PowerSkills topic. Though I read your post through, I didn't quite understand the first part on how to get to my SCAR folder =\ Im sorry if this is a dumb question, and a waste of your time, but how would I go about doing so? Im very computer illiterate.

P.S Tell me if im posting in the wrong area, haha

 

When you click "open" you will be taken to your Scripts folder, click "Up One Level" and you will be taken back to your Scar folder.

Another way to get there is by opening My Computer ---> C Drive ---> Program files ---> Scar 3.06.

But when I did this, it already was "(GetColor(421, 480)". What should I do?

That means that is SRL version 3.81. Somehow you downloaded SRL 3.7 wrong. Check your Scar folder to see if there is still an SRL370.rar in there.

 

Well if there is a SRL370.rar in there, I sure can't find it. I looked all around the folder, and there wasn't anything ='( I'll check one more time, but all I see is 3.81

EDIT: Still nowhere to be found =\ I'm hopeless, haha

If this helps, here is the lines im having problems with:
1070 TakeScreen('Ent Avioded', EntsAvoided);
1071 CheckGas('Ent', False, cx, cy);
1072 Exit;
And heres the error I get (I know I already said it, just posting again):

Also, I still have SCAR 2.03 and 3.05 installed. Would this affect anything?
I looked in the powerskills through WinRAR, and deleted the login thing, but it didn't change the scripts play outcome

 

Help anyone please? I'm lost

 

Try extracting SRL 3.7 to your Scar 3.06 folder again.
