@abar4 can you send a video of you copying the unique discord ID of the user you are talking to? To do so you have to go to your "Discord Settings" > "Appearance Tab" > "Turn Developer mode ON!".

guess it was an imposter

 

@abar4 user was most likely using unicode characters in his discord ID. I highly recommend getting a confirmation PM like this to hopefully prevent imposter scams from happening. I'm sorry for your loss.
