SAT Reasoning Test!

Soo SAT Reasoning Test scores came out today. Was quite happy with mine, managed a 790/710/650 in writing/math/reading, respectively. I'm curious to see how other users from this site did (either now or previously), so post away.

 

Oh damn, I need to go check that, thanks for the reminder. Fingers crossed that my score is high enough to not need to take it again.

 

I'm so scared to take it and its so damn expensive

 

I took the SAT twice. First time I got a 2000 flat, second time I improved 200 points.

 

Lol, I'd be happy with a 2000, but 2200 is always nice.

 

I only took it once:
800 math
730 critical reading :/

And I feel asleep during my ACT haha

It's just a pointless test, heavily based on luck(imo) that's taken by Juniors/Seniors(Grade 11 and 12) for college admissions in the US.
You have to take it (or the ACT) to go to most of the colleges here.

well, it's less than $60 for US residents I'm pretty sure, which isn't too expensive by any standards if you plan on attending university. Don't be scared, though, especially if you're a junior/senior already.

Very impressive scores. Falling asleep during the ACT would also be almost equally impressive.

2160, damn you! I'm at 2150. I'm retaking in January, though, and am targeting ~2300.

To be completely honest I don't think it's pointless or based on luck. It's a pretty fair opportunity to show what you can do and how prepared you are for college. It's not US only though, for sure. I live in Europe and I've taken in it more than once already. You will probably only need it if you're going to a US/US-system university, though.
