Tried to scam me with an impostor discord account.

Searched Samirk3#9835 into discord and this came up




I believe it's him because on discord, he knew the PM had been replied to exactly straight after it had actually been replied to. Also why would the real Samirk3 reply to the PM i sent him on Sythe if i wasn't really speaking with him on discord? I believe that he sent the wrong copy and past on Sythe PM so he could use that as a cover up, it actually seems like he wrote the actual copy and paste when mentioning "Username AT9". I had never actually spoken to him on Sythe previous to this incident so there was no reason to send anything other than our actual discord log.

If there is any further information required please do not hesitate to ask for it.
Sick and tired of people abusing their trust on this forum.

Hello sir, discord impostors mimic users on a regular basis. The Discord you were speaking to had a capitalized K in the username. Discord is case sensitive and you should always read and review the confirmation PM being sent (as the one he sent you doesn't match the text of the person on Discord you were speaking to). Had this resulted in a scam, @Samirk3, you would have been given a TWC for a poor confirmation PM. You need to follow the guide and include their Discord ID + unique ID: Discord PM Template

 

I'm giving him a twc anyway because someone else just reported to me that he sent them a bad pm and almost got imposter scammed
