Ok the safest methods of RWT besides the duel arena was drop trading and trading useless items for gold. However I think with the new market value that Jagex put on everything, if there is an unbalanced trade of say, 1M, then Jagex will investigate it? Im kinda scared to do RW trading now cause I dont want my main banned and such. Also all the horror stories of people getting banned for RW trading this week didnt help either. Does anyone think drop trading is still safe? Will Jagex be able to detect that I suddenly got something like 20M or some other huge amount of gold instantantly?
I suppose you could drop trade? But apart from that I dont think there is any other way. I used to sell pins, since I was buying willows at like 20k at a time I would give the buyer 10k of willows then I didnt look too bad.
Well Im thinking of buying maybe 100M rs gp for a bandos godsword and 3rd age melee armor. I will be doing it in 25 mil increments etc. But ffs im not gonna blow $400 and get it wasted coz I get banned ofr RWT. Drop trading sounds like the only safe method, but who knows what Jagex are capable of? Anyways has anyone been banned from using drop trading as a method?
Just try and keep the trade balanced that what I say. Buy 50k of willows, and put 10k in each trade. And talk to the other person as if your genuenly selling to them.
There is no "safe" rwt methods. Drop trading is detectable and accounts do get banned for it. Suggested methods Drop trading - Detectable sometimes Death to a monster - Not sure how detectable it is, seems pretty foolproof minus mishaps like gp getting looted etc. Getting Pked - Same as above Junk Trade - TBH, i have never been banned trading like this, although its not recommended try to make the trade look legit. Maybe pretend you are showing off your gp and pretending like your giving it away and "accidently" pressing accept. Putting gp onto an account and giving the account to the buyer
I think pking on lvl 3s might be the safest way for a one off trade. Im not sure if this will become detected if I do it too often, especially when Im buying gp in increments. Putting gp on an account and giving it to the buyer would not work since in order for the seller to put the gp on the acc, they would of had to of gone through illegal methods (drop trading, multi log etc). I have done all my trades via junk trading so far, havent been banned, but I have heard of people getting banned from it. Accidently pressing accept seems pretty clever, but as I said before, since Im buying in increments, I dont think I can pull it off numerous times =P
TBH hundreds thousands of trades / transactions are conducted on a daily basis. If your trade is singled out and detected then you must be pretty damn unlucky. However you deserve to be banned if you are blatantly obvious about it e.g 500m for a uncut sapphire.
don't trade for junk items ffs... thats how my accounts got banned, either drop it or use the "o noes i died" method.
I actually was banned for drop trading 5mil to my main and my main had 96 magic so I'd not advise you to drop trade at all.
My main got banned for the junk method, don't do it. Sold pins and successfully traded over 23m (In increments) to my newest account, and I'm not banned yet.
