Yeah, I just lost my account ($200) + 500m due to this ban. FUCK.

 

Following up with a question -- why would I get perma banned if I bought 400m? I thought you only get perma banned for selling..?

 

Jagex states that they really only ban the gold sellers, not people who purchase gold but in some cases it happens and it happens quite often and to a lot of people. You bought your account also didn't you? So maybe that has something to do with why you've banned. Either way man, I'm sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear for your losses I'm assuming those of you who lost accounts where all probably renting accounts out and/or sold a lot of GP in a short space of time. Buyers usually get away with it except the rare case of a temp ban, but the GP would still be on the account after, unless they have changed that.

most probably not a perm if its your first time offense, and the account is well played/aged as it counts for a lot but prob a 2 day/2week whatever temp ban if caught. Sellers always get it worse mostly a 1st time perm.
