Runite Mining

I have a pretty low CB account with 85 mining. I love mining runite. It's fantastically easy money.
I hate the pkers. It gets ridiculous when you try to mine during the day and you keep popping into worlds with pkers who vigilantly anticipate your arrival. I probably lost 1m in ores today.

Any advice on winning these battles? It's worse when I take my anger out on some lvl 14 bot, get skulled, don't bank and lose about 250k+ my pick by hopping into some pkers.
I do have 61 mage but I usually panic and screw my chances during a fight.
My strategy without any armor or magic is to bring like 15 lobs and just run, pray and hope I don't get snared/barraged.

Should I just do fremmenik isles/heroes quest? There are substantially less pkers at night but I can't always pull all-nighters.

 

I may be missing something here, but what will fremmenik isles/heroes quest help you with?

 

Yes I don't see how those quests will benefit you?

 

After heroes u can mine other runite ores in heroes guild

 

Heroes gives you another mine with 2 rocks.

Fremmy Isles gives you one with 1 rock.

Heroes mine: Significantly more crowded than wildy. It would be wiser to get your defence up a fair bit more tbh and go wildy.

Fremmy: a) monsters around youleh. They strong. Would need good levels brah. b) 1 rock, would not recommend.

Will definitely get my defense up and go back to the wildy. I suspected that heroes guild would be more crowded but I wasn't sure.

Are you often killed? If so maybe the answer is to pk the runite miners instead.

 

55 cb. I PK the bots tbh. today after the update there were <100 people in each world. made 1m very quickly

wildy is ur best bet, just be careful and hop fast

 

I think there is a video and a guy lures the pkers into the kbd. It would work good

Like Zinger36 said, you can lure em in the kbd lair unless of course they barrage. I saw on Chrisarchie and Rofled

 

Your best bet is just pay attention. When im travelling the willdy doing level 3 clues, i have the log-out screen open, if i see a white dot i just log out and hop, its not worth the risk.

Maybe do your hopping near the mining spot, not actually there, to avoid pkers camping the rocks, you can approach yourself per world and watch the minimap for dots.

Otherwise, considering your level 55, what are your stats? If you're a pure maybe carry a dds or bow to deal some damage back, if you can make them have to eat once you've got enough game ticks to run abit away and hopefully pull off a log out during their attack delay.

Another alternative which is unlucky, is if you had a second account you could leave at the spot in pk gear, to login and try kill the attacker who killed your miner. The ores would fill up their invent and destroy their food, then you can rape them from your main.
